A Dominican organization, by and for the Dominican community
Vision
To be the home of Dominican community soccer in the diaspora — where no child sits out for lack of money, and where the culture, values, and pride of the Dominican Republic live every weekend on the pitch.
Mission
To create a joyful, safe, and proudly Dominican home for youth soccer — where every child plays, every family belongs, and technical development, unbreakable hermandad, and Dominican identity grow together, free of financial barriers, on and off the pitch.
The 5 Core Values
Player-First Mastery · Maestría y Desarrollo
Each child's technical growth, confidence, and long-term love of the game take absolute priority over winning — and every player plays.
Unbreakable Hermandad
DYFN is a dedicated sanctuary and family home (hogar) created specifically to unite Dominican-heritage youth in belonging, safety, and pride.
Indomitable Resilience · Espíritu Indómito
Inspired by the Quisqueyanos Valientes anthem, we refuse to let financial obstacles keep any child off the pitch.
Sacred Heritage & Honor · Orgullo al Pendón
Playing with deep reverence for Dominican identity, national culture, and the foundational values of the republic (Patria).
Integrity & Higher Purpose · Dios, Fe e Integridad
Grounded in the moral foundation of our national motto (Dios, Patria, Libertad), character and child safeguarding come before performance.
In Practice — How We Live It
Maestría: relentless focus on core football fundamentals, ball mastery, decision-making, and physical literacy — every player builds a foundation, and every player plays.
Hermandad: deep cultural bonding, mutual care, and community solidarity — every player and parent feels unconditional safety, pride, and belonging on and off the pitch.
Superación: making sure cost never keeps a player off the field, instilling fierce valentía, grit, and mental toughness to rise above adversity in competition and in life.
Honor: players carry the colors, flag, and history of the Dominican Republic with dignity and sportsmanship — exemplary ambassadors of the diaspora, wherever they play.
Integridad: absolute transparency, SafeSport compliance, respect for officials and opponents, and selfless service (bien común) across governance, coaching, and family engagement.
